My release postponed by my God!!!
Praise be to the LORD ALMIGHTY and our loving saviour JESUS CHRIST.
From the time I joined (Feb 2006) as a fresher I have been working for a reputed client in a team of about 16 members. God has been so faithful in my work life. Sometime during the end of 2007 when I just neared 2 years of experience, the Project Lead moved out of the team for a different onsite assignment. Before leaving he called for a team meeting and gave a team structure (drew on the board) to be followed after he would leave. He categorized me with one of the leads and placed almost 8 team members ranging from my own batch mates to some leads under me. I still don’t understand why he did so.
After he left the Account, nothing was followed as he proposed .But I had to battle some egos and attitudes from my team mates. If I was still able to enjoy the work and retain my peace it was just due my God and the virtue of forgiveness he had planted in me. Few months later one of the offended team member became Team leader based on experience and few others some key roles. Being their turn they tried to arrange for a similar meeting and were ready with their sketch.
But just before the meeting we all got the news that the entire account was moved to another consultancy. Nobody was really interested in roles and positions and the guy whom they prepared for my role became angry with them thinking that they want him to take a more responsible role only because nobody else would do it for a winding down project. The meeting was a flop.
In my personal prayers I went to the Lord’s presence and pleaded for a minimum of 10 days stay in bench that might help me spend my time reading bible and worshipping. But the Lord showed me a crew of people plotting against me and he expressed his wrath against them. I just told that I forgive them and pleaded that not one will be held on account of me and slept.
Few days later the names of people to be released started coming by phases. My name came up in the first phase while my deliverables for an ongoing project were still pending. Well ahead of my release date, I was placed in a new project also. Praise God!!. I was personally convinced by this (God’s decision) for I have known him as a God who never lets me down before anyone. Praise be to my Lord!!!.
In my new development project I had to work in a new technology SAS. Just by God’s grace I could develop and code from the day 1 in an entirely new language. And my work was well recognized. But after very few months I came to know that the development project is going to get stalled and some billings will get closed. I was also informed that I will get released.
Couldn’t get much disturbed for I KNOW NO MAN OR SITUATION CAN BE A DECISION MAKER IN MY LIFE BUT MY GOD ALONE. I kept working with good attitude and team relationship. (The Project Lead and few Team mates even personally asked me as to what makes me remain cool. I shared about my faith and was able to glorify God. To my surprise many spoke high of my faith (even few who ridiculed my faith initially since I’m basically from a different faith background) and a fresher even started reading Bible and started coming to my church).
Praise be to God alone. Still no one worked anything to retain me.
When the time came for my release most unexpected people got released and I was not. In this recession time, a billing was added – new module came just for me. I’m still working in the same team.
PRAISE BE TO my GOD of GOODNESS.

Promotion in the midst of Recession!!!
2009 has been a terrible year across the world. The Corporate World has seen the worst of times and it has resulted in huge job losses, increments cut, tightening of belts and the like. My promotion was long due and I was hoping for it, when the announcement came in that all promotions, incentives are all being put on hold. God had promised me that He will promote me in 2009, I was wondering how it was going to happen.
By the abundant grace of God, early in the year, we won a new account and we started transition work for it in 2009. In the midst of recession, the account grew by leaps and bounds and things were hectic. Little did we realise that we were in the midst of a global crisis. This is the Lord’s doing. He can make streams in the desert, as He has promised in Isaiah 43:19.
As things improved, my company announced about promotions going to happen. Things were tough, with many more people in the fray. This world will give you any benefit only if they receive benefit from you personally. That can be changed only by our Lord.
I left everything to the Lord’s hands and miraculously I got promoted. Amen. It was purely by the grace of God. He is the one who makes it happen. It is always best to leave it to Him and not worry, as He is in control always. What more, my wife also got promoted as a Senior Lecturer in her college, beyond our expectations.
If you have been going through tough times and not seeing anything coming, just leave it to the Lord’s hands and proclaim His promises and pray and leave it to Him as in Psalm 37:5. Don’t utter any negative words, but always proclaim His promises and pray. As in Joel 2:26, He will never let us be ashamed, but note, His ways of lifting up is entirely different than what the world thinks of. We know that, we just cannot comprehend His plans, but rest assured, He has the best for us always. Amen.

Sri Lanka Trip Testimony
This testimony is on the general goodness of God in all the work done by me during my mission trip to Sri Lanka from Oct 2nd to Oct 4th 2009.
– “Praise God”. God relocated Bro.Christie, (with whom I have been involved in CCF ministry) to Sri Lanka 3 to 4 months ahead for his own mission / ministry calling so that he could be the main coordinator of my mission trip. Every single event, my transportation to the events, my food & shelter was arranged by Bro.Christie. I “Praise God” for he works everything in accordance with His larger plan for our lives.
– “Praise God”. Every single need with respect to the finance was met & I was also able to give the surplus generated as an offering for the betterment of Sri Lankan people.
– “Praise God”. Bro.Christie was able to able to meet / reconnect with his friend after a gap of 10 long years during the “Glory of Christ Prayer Church” service in which I was preaching at Wattala.
– “Praise God”. During the course of my teaching / preaching assignments.2 youngsters who had completed Bible College & were now silent (Not active) decided to re-dedicate their lives to ministry.
– “Praise God”. Many Church pastors have decided to encourage & start corporate fellowships among their Church congregations. A couple of pastors have agreed to start fellowships among plantation workers & other similar groups of believers.
– “Praise God”. I was able to sustain energy to preach at 3 Church services and a pastoral committee meeting on Sunday. It was God alone who sustained me with tireless energy during this mission trip.
– “Praise God”. Though I am an unknown person in Sri Lanka , through Bro.Christie & the Lord’s blessing I was able to meet many top Sri Lankan Christian / Secular leaders and meet, fellowship & pray with them. For Ex: One meeting with the committee of the Hatton Pastors Fellowship was in the house of the PA of the Social Development Minister of SriLanka .
On the whole, I can only say that the Lord personally cares for and blesses every single activity carried out under the sun in his name. May the Lord alone be glorified & may every single credit of this successful mission trip go only to him & him alone.
“Praise God“
With Best Regards,

Seems like yesterday…
by V.Chacko Jacob
It just seems like yesterday when the last testimony was written on my 35th Birthday & the next is written, just after my 36th Birthday. The year 2009 seems to have flown past at jet speed & 2010 is already rushing at supersonic speed. In this mad rush of time, I just wanted to slow down, take stock & see if I could glorify God in the process.
What happened in the year that flew past? Well, one of my authentic answers with my personal testimony is this: When you make yourself available for God, every opportunity will be given to you to glorify God through the gift you have. He has given me, “the gift to speak well” and likewise, God has given me the grace to finish every single month to use my gift to the best possible extent, either in corporate fellowships and its events, or in other events organized by powerful men of God. Also, I got an opportunity to make a personal mission trip to Sri Lanka to encourage the weary brothers and sisters with His powerful Word. “Praise God”, He has held my throat together & my God given gift never failed me through out the year.
I have had many tests in the year passed by but the good Lord has helped me to get through all the tests with flying colors. Being diabetic, I am prone to blood sugar fluctuations, sudden dips in energy levels & other complications. I want to praise God that out of the 22 days leave allocated to me by my company, I have taken only 5-days leave due to me being unwell. The rest of the 17 days of leave, I could make use specifically for Kingdom assignments (Preaching, teaching, anchoring, etc).
I really Praise God for this miracle in my life. It has been 5 years now since I am taking treatment for diabetes. I have medicines morning & night for controlling sugar, cholesterol & blood pressure but never have I felt energy less doing God’s work. The Lord has always given me an extraordinary strength & energy to do his work. On some weeks, I would work 2-shifts continuously, so that I would avail leave to attend a CCF core team meeting “or” planning meeting over the week end. On some days, after standing for 5-hours continuously, I would go somewhere and preach. On none of these occasions would any one say that he / she felt I was drained of energy. In fact, many who see me associate me with enthusiasm and energy. The Bible does not lie when it says in Isaiah 40:31 “but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint”. My hope is in the Lord & I am renewed with energy to do his work in spite of my physical condition or circumstances.
I know, the year 2010 will also fly past & soon we will be in 2011 before we realize it. At the beginning of 2010, I want to encourage you that in 2010 you must make best use of what God has gifted into you. Use every ounce of your gifting. Be a candle that burns down rather than a candle that rusts away covered with cobwebs. Sing for God, Plan for God, Teach for God, Account for God, Administer for God & simply Rock for God using every bit of what he has blessed into you in abundance.
I wish you a Happy New Year & May God Bless you with a Fantastic & Blessed 2010

David is back home!!
The smart man of the family aged 58 years faced a crisis of having a paralytic attack on 8th September 2010 due to hemorrhage in his left brain. Bleeding was increasing in such a way that his right brain was about to be spoiled and he was almost nearing his last minutes of his life. Doctors told that they had not seen an unusual case like this in their 30 years of service, and they also told us that every hour for my dad who was unconscious in the ICU is a bonus given to him by God and the chances of losing him was increasing.
Our family was in a condition where my mom had just retired and my wedding was proposed to be held in near future and the elder sister had just delivered a baby. We lost all hope in medicines, doctor and treatment and started clinging on to Jesus Christ, waiting for His only grace to save appa thanking Him with faith that He had already given back my dad’s life.
The whole family started praying fervently night and day. It was marvelous how our Loving Lord immediately opened a way. We heard news from a Doctor from the biggest hospital, stating that a risky Angio may block the bleed but we might have to lose our dad on the table if risk occurs. Anyways Jesus has opened a way where there seemed to be no way. So, we fixed the date on 24th Sep and then we made up our minds to let Jesus look after dad in the hospital, and we sat at home together as family and called on His Mighty name. We all prayed as a big family with fasting from 11 to 6 in the evening.
There came a call to prove that we had really worshipped the only living God Jesus Christ for the whole day. We heard from the doctor over phone stating that the point of bleeding or what they call as (Aneurysm) medically had disappeared completely from my Dad’s brain. There was no sign of any bleed or irregularity in my dad’s brain. Everything was normal and better than before! The doctors found no need to touch my dad’s body, because Jesus Christ had touched and healed it. God’s word rightly says, “Call upon me in the day of trouble and I will deliver you” – Psalm 50:15. Our prayers that we took from home were looked upon and the awesome miracle occurred in the hospital. How loving and merciful our Jesus Christ is.
The doctor proclaimed with her own mouth that “The God whom you have worshipped has delivered your Dad”. This clearly depicts that what is Impossible with man, is possible with Jesus. Next day morning, when we saw Dad, we could feel God’s presence on his face and he was back to normal. He was discharged from the hospital very soon after that and finally DAVID WAS BACK HOME by His grace.
I am sharing this testimony with you because we tasted our Lord Jesus Christ day by day and we wanted you to also experience the same. If His Grace is not with us, we would have been lost. PRAISE AND ALL GLORY BE TO THE ONLY LIVING GOD JESUS CHRIST. HE HAS CRUSHED THE ENEMY UNDER HIS FEET AND DOES WONDERS FOR HIS OWN PEOPLE. HOW PRIVELEGED WE ARE!!!!!!!!!!!
