Hairs Of My Head Are Numbered!

Hairs Of My Head Are Numbered!

Hi

I’m working for an IT company in Chennai.  September 2006, and the project I had been working in for a year, had come to an end. I had been working from our office (near Thoraipakkam), for the past two years.

All my team members were getting released to different projects of our office, near Navalur. I was also expecting to be released to that same branch, but God had a different plan.  I was released to a five member Team – to an office near Tidel Park. My previous team mates suggested that I ask for a release to some other project, in an around Navalur. However, I did not heed to their suggestion, because deep down I knew that God had a purpose for placing me in this new location, near Tidel Park.

It was also difficult to adjust in the new office environment; after having been at the cozy office environment, near Thoraipakkam, for nearly 2 years. A month passed by and I realized that I had adapted to the new environment. I felt God was shifting me here and there so that I could easily adapt to different environments – since I take a lot of time to adapt to changes. He is still working on me!

Now, I was using the office bus facility for everyday transportation. Towards the end of October, I received an e-mail from the Transport department stating that my bus would no longer ply by the Tidel/Elnet facilities. It would be rerouted via Velachery. I was worried on how I would come to office everyday…but God was in control!

I also came to know that there were discussions going on – for the past six months – to shift our project to the office, near Navalur. My team members said, “Each time the topic of shifting would crop up, nothing would come out of it, as they were never serious about it!” So I thought; ‘If we really do shift this time, it is just the Lord Jesus Christ who is behind it’.

Guess what? The week after the buses were rerouted, our five member team shifted from Tidel to the office, near Thoraipakkam (there were 5 vacant seats in this office)! The rest of the Team members got shifted to the office near Navalur!! Now, I am not facing any transport problem!!!

All Glory be to God who makes all things beautiful in His time! It is the Lord’s doing and it is marvelous in our eyes!!!!

Are not two small birds sold for a very small piece of money? And yet not one of the birds falls to the earth without your Father knowing it. God knows how many hairs you have on your head.

So do not be afraid. You are more important than many small birds.

Arms of Cushion!

Arms of Cushion!

…He who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, He who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. (Psalm 121:3, 4)

As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds His people from this time forth and forever.(Psalm 125:2)

Hi all,

Last weekend, we had gone for a two day trip to Kodaikanal. I was accompanied by my sister and the family of my Aunty, from Chennai.  Since we did not get train or bus tickets, we had to take our Tata Sumo. We had a great time in the hill station.

On our way back, we met with an accident! We were about 400 kilometers before Chennai. We were traveling at about 90 kilometers per hour; when the Sumo flipped onto one side and hit against a Railway Gate. All of us came out of the vehicle alive and without any injury. All Glory to God! What should have been a major accident turned out to be like a Roller-Coaster ride for all of us.

If we had crashed 1000 times, 999 times at least; one of us should have died! But thank God for His arms of cushion that was around us. He was with us; like how He was with Daniel and his friends in the fiery furnace! Only when I came out and heard people ask me questions like, ‘Did anyone survive?’ and “What God do you serve?” did I realize that it was God and only God who held us together when we crashed!!

So many verses came to my mind, which made a lot of sense to me; like the ones I put on the top – “He never slumbers nor sleeps” and “The Lord surrounds His people like the mountains of Jerusalem”…

I realized that our life here on earth is so fragile and uncertain like what the Holy Bible says “Like a breath” “flower of the field“.  I do not know how many of us wake up everyday and are actually grateful for every second that we live, for the 101 times we travel by our vehicles and yet come home safe! ‘Never take life for granted’ is what I learnt and I’m grateful for every breath that He allows me to take.

I also realized that He has put all of us here because we have not yet finished the task He has given us! That is why He did not want me home so soon.

Anyway, all six of us have been given yet another life. I just want to thank God for his amazing love!

There is no place more secure than my Father’s arms…how true….

Love

H1B Visa – Enemy whispered 'Rejected'- Jesus said 'Approved'

H1B Visa – Enemy whispered 'Rejected'- Jesus said 'Approved'

I would like to share my testimony on how God helped me to get my H1B VISA stamped. Yes, it is only because of the mighty presence of the Lord Jesus Christ that my VISA got approved.

By the time I got my appointment – about two weeks back – before the interview date;a voice began to whisper to me the word ‘Rejected’, very often. I had unconsciously got into a mindset that, surely I was going to fail. So, I just knelt down at the feet of the Lord – in prayer; to remove the thought of failure from me. During my prayer time, God gave me His promise from His word saying…

“Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.” (Isaiah 41:10)

This word from God strengthened me through out the whole week, even until the day of my interview. However, on the day of my interview, once again the voicebegan to whisper saying, “Rejected! You are not going to get through”. My appointment time was 3:30 p.m., but by the time I stepped into the main entrance, it was almost 5 p.m. Earlier, as I was standing in the queue outside the American embassy for almost 2 hours; I saw many dejected and disappointed faces coming out! I could hardly see a smiling face. On seeing this, the thought of failure once again took control over my mind. I stood there hopeless. During this time, I just began to claim the promise that GOD had given me. I yelled at the voicethat kept on whispering ‘failure’, the name of JESUS. I kept on saying this till I entered the embassy door, ‘In the name of Jesus I have the victory’. The thought of failure slowly disappeared; as I sat inside the embassy andawaited my turn to proceed for the interview.

It was now almost 6 p.m., when I was taken into a separate counter for the interview. Normally, only 800 people will be given appointments per day by the consulate; but the day I went,about 1700 people were called for the interview. It seemed that the officers were mentally stressed out and were in a frustrated mood, wanting to rush up things, as soon as possible. There werestill almost about 100 more people – including myself – waiting there for our turn. Maybe, we were the last batch of people who were invited for the interview. Tension started to take upper hand as I was moved toward the Interview Counter – before me stood 4 people.

The interviewing Officer seemed to be in a frustrated mood, he approved only 1 visa out of 4; and even the approved visa was only a dependent visa. All the visas he had rejected were working (H1B) visas. In the meantime, as I was standing in the queue; I continued to see many visas getting rejected in the adjacent counter as well. Once again the enemy tried to pour out the thought of failure in my mind; but with the heavenly Armour, in the name of the LORD JESUS CHRIST I rebuked him. Finally, the officer summoned me to the counter; as I began to walk towards the counter, I closed my eyes a second and just prayed – ‘Lord, You speak through me’ – and pleasantly greeted the officer. He asked me a couple of simple questions and the Lord provided me enough wisdom and strength to answer him. He also verified few of my documents and finally said the words, “Your VISA is approved, Sir!” Yes, it was made possible only with the help of our Lord Jesus Christ. Finally, as I bid him goodbye; I said “May God bless you” and he smiled at me.

Yes, my friends, though the enemy tries to show you the sign of failure; let us always remember that GOD has made us mighty warriors. He has given us the weapon to attack him back – which is the Word of God. It is the situation that sometimes makes us to stumble; in that situation if you are not comfortable in using your weapon just call upon the name of “JESUS” – the name above all names! It is such a powerful name that the evil one (satan/lucifer) cannot stand against us. Yes, I got rid of the thought of failure only when I claimed victory in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

May God bless you!!

God meets all needs….

God meets all needs….

Friends,

Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Just wanted to pen down a testimony on God’s goodness.

You are aware of the program that I am being involved in at Pondicherry called “Dr.God – God’s Health Plan For You”

When we planned the budget for the program – The first thing I said to Pastor is that “God will provide for this program & You will not ask anyone in the Church for money to execute this program”. He asked me in return – “You know nobody in Pondicherry; You just got here recently. How will you raise the money for the Dr.God program?”

I told him that the success and testimony of this program will incite / motivate every single person who attends this Church to plan and execute programs for Jesus courageously.

I praise God for he is faithful to reward my faith. Just 3 brothers from CCF & CFG met the entire financial needs of the Dr.God program. In fact we are 20% surplus to the budgeted amount already. “Praise God”

I am sure that by the time the event finishes on March 15th – I will write another testimony on how the Lord answered our prayers and grew the Church we are targeting to grow by substantial numbers.

When I speak on March 23rd,08  “Easter” service, I will testify that I may not know many people in Pondicherry but the Lord Jesus whom I worship – “He knows me, Knows what I need & Why I need it and He always provides for me in abundance”

I will never tire doing programs for the Lord Jesus & I will never tire of testifying how God meets the needs of every single program I do for him.

“Praise God”

From Hopelessness to Gold Medal…

From Hopelessness to Gold Medal…

I am Santhosh, working with CTS.  I am sharing my testimony to glorify our God’s name. Only because of our God’s grace, I got a university rank for my MSc.(Software Engg) overall aggregate percentage and received a gold medal at the convocation. Glory be to God. I didn’t study properly in my 12th and I scored only 73% with an engineering cutoff 198, which was not sufficient to get a seat in a good engineering college. By that time I haven’t yet accepted Jesus. The Grace of God was with me and I got a seat for MSc.(Software Engg) at a reputed engineering college. In my 4th year, I got saved by Lord at a small fellowship inside our college hostel. Praise God!. At my studies, couple of times I got arrears and both the time I applied for revaluation and got cleared. Praise the Lord!. Even if have missed to clear 1 paper by revaluation on that time, I wouldn’t have received that gold medal.

I never thought that I will get a gold medal.

Ephesians 3:20

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,)

In our university, only 9 people cleared MSc with distinction and all of them got university ranks. Lord made me one among those and made receive a gold medal. Glory be to God.

I remember the way I entered my college. I entered without hope and a shame of not getting a engineering seat. But our Lord called me there and saved me and lifted me up to leave the college with distinction, university rank, gold medal and a great job now. All Glory be to our Lord. It’s not because of my work, only because of our God’s grace. HE raises us to heights which we can’t even imagine in our life. Amen. Praise God.

1 Samuel 2:8

He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, [and] lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set [them] among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth [are] the LORD’S, and he hath set the world upon them

Above all, our Lord is using me to do His ministries. After accepting Christ, I got a thirst in my mind that I should spread the gospel. I am sure that our Lord had kept it. It grew by God’s words. But I didn’t know how to do. But God made it true, by His wonderful guidance. Praise God. Glory be to God.
